The practice

Leadership that has lived in the operations it advises.

NABR Consulting is led by Nicolas Rodriguez, a technology executive with more than fifteen years of leadership experience across manufacturing, distribution, and private-equity-backed organizations. The practice exists to bring the kind of work senior technology leaders actually deliver (infrastructure modernization, operational maturity, and practical AI enablement) to organizations that want experienced guidance without full-time executive overhead.

The work spans cloud and infrastructure transformation, ERP and systems integration, operational strategy, and the pragmatic adoption of AI where it genuinely reduces effort. The throughline is consistent: technology decisions grounded in how a business actually runs, designed to last beyond the engagement.

Nicolas holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, and is based in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Philosophy

How modernization is approached.

Practical over performative

Solutions the team can realistically own and maintain, favoring approaches that fit the organization's capacity over the most elaborate design.

Sustainable over trend-driven

Technology choices that support long-term operations, chosen for durability and total cost rather than novelty.

Collaborative over prescriptive

Partnering alongside internal teams to build shared understanding, rather than handing down decisions from the outside.

Selected outcomes

Representative results from prior leadership work.

~85%
Reduction in downtime following infrastructure and resiliency modernization.
$495K
Annual savings realized through vendor and licensing optimization.
~35%
Improvement in infrastructure efficiency through modernization and simplification.

Figures reflect outcomes from prior executive roles and are shared as representative context.

Where the experience runs deepest

Industries and environments.

Manufacturing, industrial, and distribution organizations, particularly multi-site, multi-entity, and private-equity-backed environments where operational continuity and disciplined modernization matter most. Comfortable working across ERP platforms, cloud infrastructure, and the operational systems that connect them.
